On this project I’ve been working on over the course of the past years and sometimes I still do, whenever the client needs new design materials. The first step of the project was developing a brand name for what would be a newly built hotel by the Black Sea, in MAmaia NORd, Romania. After tons of research and a few brand name proposals, the final decision was settled on “MANOR” – a combination between the name of the location.
Next step has been to develop the visual identity for it, starting with the logo. The final logo design is represented by a uniquely crafted “M” initial that is elegant and modern, just like the hotel, with a combo serif and sans-serif typefaces. Once the logo was done, I’ve created a few visual identity assets for it, including: business cards, letterhead, holder for the access card key and HTML email signature.
With the visual identity ready, we’ve started working on the website development. This was created using WordPress and had the purpose of presenting the hotel and the surrounding areas.
Along the way, a few other elements have been designed, including: logo adaptation for a new location called “MANOR SKI“, 2 totem designs to be placed in front of the hotel, a 25×1.5m banner that covered a fence, place mats for the restaurant, menu for the restaurant and a presentation folder and flyers to represent both locations.
